Royal Island is located 110 kilometers from Male' International Airport and can be reached by seaplane in 30 minutes. Measuring 800 meters long and 220 meters wide, Royal Island offers unique and first class accommodation in spectacular tropical surroundings that will give guests the true Robinson Crusoe experience.

Featuring 150 bungalows on the island, which blend harmoniously with the lush tropical vegetation. All the bungalows are tastefully constructed in wood and are only meters from the warm tropical waters and the beautiful white sandy beach that circles the island. The furniture is solid hardwood, the marbles on the bedside table is real, heavy marble. The curtains, bedcover, cushion materials are rich and expensive and look it. The bathroom fittings are the best you can find.

The main restaurant is the makana restaurant. All the types of meals will be taken from this restaurant and it is buffet type. And the kitchen is amazing, matched only by that of KANUHURA. There is another five star Asian restaurant which serves all mainly Asian spices. There is a separate coffee shop to have coffee any time you wish to cool your self down.

The swimming pool is a spectacular showpiece of curves, slopes and countless tiny blue tiles. The Jacuzzi in the spa, is in the same recoco style.
