Komandoo Resort opened in November 1998 and is situated on the north-western reef of the Lhaviyani Atoll, 80 miles north of the international Airport 'Hulhule'.
Komandoo, an exclusive four star Resort, is the second Hotel in the beautiful Lhaviyani Atoll, famous among divers for its abundance of underwater life.

The island is 100 meters wide and 500 meters long, with attractive sugar white sand banks on both ends. A beautiful lagoon all around the island and a magnificent house reef close by, with superb snorkeling conditions. The vegetation is tropical with a beautiful 30-year old coconut plan- station as highlight.

Komandoo is perfectly situated in a channel opening, which makes it very interesting for divers and snorkelers. You never know what to expect when entering the waters, Turtles, Mantas or Rays. Sitting in the "Kandu Bar" terrace, You may see a school of dolphins playing as they pass by.

Komandoo's forty-five Beach Villas are all very attractive.

Spa at Komandoo aims to set new standards for what a Spa destination should offer. At our Spa, you and your individual needs are given top priority.
The Spa is built around "Equilibrium Plus", a concept developed by Raison d'Etre. We believe that only a truly holistic approach to well-being can create a sense of mental and physical balance. By holistic, Raison d'Etre envisages treatments that take into account all the aspects of the client: the physical, the emotional, the mental and the spiritual.

Many different activities are available in Komandoo besides diving and snorkeling. In front of the Bar You can play Beach Volleyball, in the game room You can play Table tennis or Darts.

Badminton is also available.

Selected watersports are free of charge, as windsurfing and canoes.

Instructions in windsurfing or Top Cat catamaran sailing are also available in the Watersports- center.
