The island being situated at North Male' Atoll is behind the outside rim of the atoll, capturing this great possition alone on the N-M-Atoll. As you can see from the above picture the island has beaches almost all around the island with a house-reef almost with easy access for snorkeling and diving. |

Some says the beach has diminished over the years - but as per our analysis those fine sands are moving from one location of the island to the other - depending on the seasons. And as time passes naturally sand-banks bulge-up in the lagoon - as you can see from the below picture - its a new sand bank in the lagoon of Eriyadhu lagoon. Maybe another 50 years or so the sand bank may become an island - nobody knows...... |
