Embudu has a beautiful house reef surrounding it completely. The reef plays host to a great variety of marine wildlife, ensuring that snorkeling and even shore diving around the edges are always rewarding. The water is stunningly clear, especially around the arrival jetty where large shoals of fish gather. Watching the hundreds of fish that swim beneath the jetty’s lights is a nightly ritual for many of the guests.    76 - Superior Rooms - a/c

Facilities available are; Air Conditioner, Telephone, Mini fridge, Fan, Hair Dryer, Hot and Cold Water shower.

   16 - Water Bungalows- a/c

Specially Designed for Travelers coming for Honeymoon Holidays. Facilities available are; Air Conditioner, Telephone, Hot and Cold Water shower, Hair Dryer, Mini Fridge, Satellite TV, Glass Bottom Panel, Bath Tub With Jacuzzi, Glass Roof Panel in Bath Room, Tea and Coffee Making Facilities, Saff.

Mostly the visitors to Embudhu are Europeans - though a bit less British and Italians. However a reasonable number of Japanese guests holidays here. though Half Board is available most of the guests go on FullBoard. The meals should say very good, as the happy food and beverage manager said the management almost keeps an open budget for food. They have a separate buffet table and a cooking table outside.

Truly the island has NO man made groynes or sand pumpings to the beaches - they are all natural. Though you may come across with some low walls which are necessary - while moving along the beaches. Some low leve sea-water bushes are grown at the shoreline - this natural in almost all the islands of Maldives.

Undoubtedly this is among the favorite resorts for snorkelers - as the reefs is close to the shoreline with easy access with many schools of fish and you will come across with manta rays and some reef-sharks from the cut-through to the open sea.

Diving is a very popular sport at Embudhu - because of the enormous great dive sites and channels close by. The dive base instructor and staffs are very helpful and friendly.
