   14 Land Bungalows

The 14 Land bungalows at Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo are designed as two separate rooms in a single storey structure and are located just behind the Beach Bungalows. These rooms open out to the garden area with lush palm trees and pristine footpaths leading the way to the beach.
These Standard Bungalows are air conditioned and furnished with comfortable double beds, wardrobes, mini bars, satellite TV, IDD and Telephone facilities, hair dryers, open-plan bathrooms, hot & cold water, bath amenities including beach towels, bath towels and tea & coffee making facilities.

   28 Superior Rooms - (Familis & Friends &.or Groups)

The well planned 28 Superior Rooms at Chaaya Reef Ellaihdoo are wonderfully designed, facing the Indian Ocean, in groups of four rooms as two-storey structures. With two rooms on each floor, they are the ideal choice for families or groups of friends on holiday.

The 46 Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo 'Beach Bungalows' are discerningly designed as separate private single storey units and open out to offer an amazing view of the ocean.

For the freshest catch of the day, a meal at the Seafood Restaurant at Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo should not be missed. It’s an elegant gourmet restaurant with a casual atmosphere serving up tasty dishes from an A la Carte menu. They also serve up a fantastic choice of beverages.

   Iruohsunee Bar  -  (Exclusively for Water Bungalow Guests)

The Main Sunset Bar at Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo, Iruohsnee Bar is located in a prime spot and offers guests hours of relaxation with a favorite drink. It is the ideal place to watch the world go by while sipping a favorite drink from a wide variety of aperitifs and beverages that are on the menu.

Just 15 metres from the jetty is a wreck, which at 30 meters down is inaccessible for snorkelers but certainly adds something extra to the fine house reef diving. As the visiting big fish would indicate, there are occasional strong currents here which guests need to be aware of. Drop a handful of sand in the water first or consult the dive school.

The dive school id remarkably busy and enthusiastic place. Italian divers prefer a morning dive, perhaps a double tank, and then relax in the afternoon. They are serviced by Italian Instructors. The German and English divers tend to be more single minded, many of them on limitless diving packages, with 400 or 500 dives logged. It says a great deal that wherever else they go, they always come back to Ellaidhoo (and its probably not just for the free tea, chocolate, coconut and water on the boats). The three nearby Protected Marine Areas are just the start of what the region has to offer.

Walking up the isle of bliss: This is no fairy tale. This backdrop is the most amazing looking scene you could ever imagine for a celebration of love - a clear blue sky as marquee and silky white sand as a carpet with shady palms dancing and the breeze and the music of gently lapping waves. Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo offers romance as an experience.

Half day Island Hopping: Sun, sea, sand and a boat to take visitors from one to another! Each island in the Maldives is unique and most islands are uninhabited. Discover secluded islands and inhabited ones while island hopping.

Snorkeling: A splendid house reef teeming with marine life! Spend hour and hours simply watching the world go by underwater while exploring some of the best coral reefs in the world.

Its a good thing that the water sports are on another island as they can get on with lots of motorized sports without being heard on the resort: fun tubes, jet ski, water skis, and knee boards. Other activities and excursions are as expected (fishing, island hoping and Male), though there is only one snorkeling trip a week. If the dive school takes over that will increase to daily.

There is a massive sports centre in the middle of the island. On the second floor are separate rooms for a gleaming, modern gym, for stepping and spinning classes (group cycling) and for two pool tables. Outside are Jacuzzis, a tennis court, a squash court and a children's play area. Inside on the ground floor is a big satellite t.v, a well stocked bar, a karaoke lounge and a massage room. Frankly its all a bit over the top and, well, not much used.
